2007 Summer Research Program Announcement
 
The WV-INBRE will conduct the 2007 Summer Research Program at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center in Morgantown and the Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington during the period of June 4 through August 3, 2007. The nine week program is open to undergraduate and graduate students at all colleges and universities in West Virginia, except those enrolled at West Virginia University and Marshall University, who will not have graduated by August 2007. Faculty members from institutions with Network Outreach status are eligible to apply for Faculty Fellowships as part of this program. Student interns and faculty fellows will be matched with faculty mentors at WVU or Marshall University and will conduct biomedical research projects. The results of the summer research will be presented at the Summer Research Symposium which will be held August 2, 2007 at Marshall University. Interns will receive a stipend of $4,000 and fellows will receive $11,000 for the period of the Summer Research Program.

Applications forms and the Mentors Directory which lists available mentors and projects will be posted on the Web site by January 1, 2007.
