This page provides bioinformatics teaching tools for undergraduate and graduate students interested in a career in biomedical research. Each module contains a slide-show on the specific bioinformatics topic and a hands-on exercise using bioinformatics online tools. Also incorporated are powerpoints and exercises from the book

The materials are designed as modules so instructors can incorporate one or more of them into a variety of classes such as Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry ect...

The WV-BRIN has funded the creation of this webpage to expand the resources of biomedical research in West Virginia. Students and Faculty at WV-BRIN schools may also access additional software packages - (GCG Wisconsin Package) Seqweb, Seqlab, and Microarray Software.
